this has been around since the 360 launched. all you have to do is while playeing a game press the guide button then go to your recent players list select the person being a d!ck and "mute player" works with every game on live. all bungie did was make it quicker.

why would dual players not be a good idea? i don't know how much you are into computers and what not but a little while back when writable DVDs first came out there were two formats trying to "win" dominance and everything was all slow going and stupid, much like how HD-DVD and Blu-Ray are now, then dual format burners came out and... tada problem solved. now nether format "won" but both types of media are still around, and none of the early adopters were asked to bend ove...
Yes this surprised me I had thought that the cost to make a HD-DVD was much closer to that of a regular DVD. I think in the end though there will be no winner, dual format players will come out and titles will be released on both formats so as not to leave either side's early adopters in the dark. Also this is ONLY production cost so it doesn't take into account the money required to licence the use of either format which I believe is much cheaper with HD-DVD.

hold on a sec... i remember not too long ago many many people here bla blaing on and on about how the PS3 was right in going with its half assed attempt to do motion control like nintendo and saying that rumble was useless and that they "normally turned it off anyways"... now all of a sudden you guys miss it... hmmm something is a littly fishy here. you guys are funny. why dont you just buy a 360 its got more games, better games, better online, and RUMBLE all for $200 less.

all those ps3 titles are no more system sellers than the 360 ones that were excluded. I dont really know too many peple that would rather drop $600+$60 on a PS3 + Motorstorm than $400+$60 on a 360 + Mass Effect.
Mass Effect uses an upgraded/tweaked version of UE3 you noob and ALL the MAIN characters in it were modeled after REAL people. Mass Effect has been featured on many mag covers and has been talked about for almost as long as gears has. so if gears had a background so does this... your argument holds no water.

umm well if they are playing it on a 360 that persons system choice is pretty easy to see, the 360... not too many are gonna buy both, so if sony wants to burn more of thier money let them.
umm gears had no background and im sure that sold just a few 360's... so yeah.. this list is flawed I know more than a few people who are waiting for Mass Effect to launch before they drop $400 on a 360.
